  • Awarded a Gold Medal in 1995 for the best post graduate student at Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi.
  • Practicing as an obstetrian & gynaecologist in Meerut since 1997.
  • Pioneered an IVF/ICSI center in meerut in 2004- the first of its kind in western UP. we have to our credit the birth of the first ICSI baby of western UP, the first ICSI twins, ICSI triplets followed by successful foetal reduction, first TESA/PESA baby, first surrogate pregnancy of the region.
  • She made international news by giving twins to a genetic male (Swyer’s Syndrome) by a technique to test tube baby. Her efforts were applauded by both national and international press for this rarest of rare feat (7th successful pregnancy in a genetic male in the world) dated 9th February 2015. A complete article on this achievement appeared in the magazine THE WEEK as the ‘The man who gave birth to twins’ dated 15th March 2015.
  • She has to her credit of delivering ‘the tallest woman of Asia & second tallest woman of the world’ Swetlana Singh (7ft, 6 inch) on 13th June 2007. The baby weighed 5.5 kg at birth & measured 62 cms. Both mother & child featured in the Limca Book of World Records for being the tallest mother & the tallest baby at 9 months of age.
  • She appeared on the front page of Times of India dated 16th Oct 2015 for yet another remarkable feat. A NRI patient at the age of 55 years with 8 big fibroids successfully achieved a pregnancy after undergoing a fibroid removal operation followed by test tube technique. The patient was refused by many top centers across the world.
  • She has presented her work at both national & international forums & has research papers in various national journals.
  • Recent work on ‘Laparoscopic cornuostomy for an interstitial heterotopic pregnancy following ICSI followed by live birth was the first such reported case in world literature.’
  • Work on ‘B/L ectopic pregnancy – a rare entity followed by natural conception’ won accolades at national conference of ISAR 2005.
  • Regular columnist of ‘Dainik Jagran’ the leading Hindi newspaper of the region. She was nominated for the Hidustan Times ‘Women of the year’ award in 2012.
